Hi, I’m Chelsea!

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Coach who’s worked with professional sports organizations, Olympians, thru-hikers in their 70’s, ultramarathoners, 5K runners in their 80’s and everyone in between - to help them go from “Will I ever run again?” to “I just ran an Ultra in the mountains!”.

You may be wondering how I got into this?

I trained as a physical therapist, worked with lots of sports organizations helping their athletes stay healthy and performance-ready at all times….and THEN…I got my real schooling.

It wasn’t until I went through years of ankle pain from an intense ankle injury that I really understood what my clients were going through. 

I gave up running. 

Then I gave up my workouts.

I even stopped taking longer walks.

I was tired of being frustrated, sad, and disappointed during my workouts from being in pain that I couldn’t figure out. I was honestly afraid I’d never run or hike again!

I realized I didn’t just need a rehab plan. I needed to rebuild running from the ground up.

I created a system that doesn’t just help you overcome pain and injury but teaches you the skills and science you need to prepare for bucketlist races, hikes and treks while utilizing the science of injury prevention and longevity to reach your goals.

This system helped me run and hike in the French Alps (the photo above) years after I thought I’d never run or hike again.

And this amazing thing is that this system didn’t just help me…I’ve since helped hundreds of other runners and hikers reach big goals.

My experience with chronic pain and injury taught me that running or hiking isn’t just a workout.

It’s an anchor in life that attaches you to living life on your own terms. Staying connected to your dreams…your passions….and that is invaluable.

My aim is to help you do the same... connect to the life you want to lead.

Here’s how it works

Step One: Click the link above to set up a 15-minute courtesy call where you can tell me more about your needs, I’ll answer any questions you have and we’ll discuss which plan will work best for you. I offer a few options, depending on the level of support you receive throughout the month.

Step Two: You get a welcome packet where I’ll have you fill out some key information about your current needs.  I like to start with a thorough history because it’s all connected and I want to make the most of your time. Even things like previous ankle sprains can affect your hips!

Step Three:  You will receive a full mobility and strength assessment that I will review to determine what areas you need to focus on while preparing for the event to improve strength and reduce your injury risk.

From this, we’ll identify what exercises, gear, training plan and other strategies you need to focus on in the coming months to finish the event feeling healthy and strong.

Step Four: After signing up, here’s what you’ll receive:

-Custom strength and mobility exercises (with videos) of exactly how to train to support your goals

-A tailored mileage and elevation plan to help you reach your goals and finish feeling strong and pain-free

-Shoe and gear recommendations to reduce your risk of pain and injury

-Running form analysis to help reduce your risk of pain and injury

-Optional 1-1 check-ins during the month to help support you along the way

Here’s what I know…

Sure, you can find training plans online or ask AI to do them for you.

But take it from me…the top athletes in the world aren’t using these.
